Movie Review:The winning pair of Kathalil Vizhunthen, Nakul and Sunaina are back in Kalpathi S Aghoram’s Masilamani.Directed by debutant Manohar, the film is a love story. The entire shooting is over and only one song is left which is being shot at AVM Studios currently.“The producer has been very kind and co-operative,” said Manohar at a press meet. He was very thankful to be given a chance with this project. “They told me to shoot two of the five songs anywhere in the world. We have shot one song in Hong Kong and the other in Macau, which is nearby. It will be a very different location for viewers.”Rubbishing rumours that the lead pair is in love, Nakul and Sunaina maintained that they are just very good friends. “Our screen chemistry is great so it may look like love but its all acting,” said Nakul.“I am very comfortable with her and she has no tantrums. When I make suggestions to better any scene, it helps when she co-operates. That’s why the film is coming out so well. My first film was about psychotic love but in Masilamani you will see me as a cute lover boy”, adds NakulTalking about the tips his sister Devayani has given him he says, “She has asked me to always be like how I was for my first film and not throw tantrums or create any trouble for anyone as I go along in my career.”According to director Manohar, “All love stories are the same but it’s the handling of it that differs. In my film you will see a very different screenplay.” Sunaina plays a Bharatnatyam dancer in the film. The music is by D Immaan and Vetri handles the camera. Now it remains to be seen, if this lucky pair can set the box office ringing once again.
